As an amateur photographer, my subject interests are varied and include travel, nature, architecture, macro and abstract photography. The banner includes an example of my travel photography taken in Rabat, Morocco. While not a stranger to black and white photography, vivid colors, exotic landscapes, cityscapes and people of varied ethnicities are of particular interest. The street image of Rabat Morocco has vivid blue and minimalist architectural elements evoking a more relaxed past in an oriental setting.
Photography has given me an outlet to express my aesthetic sensibilities and creativity. My career has been focused on scientific research and although experimental design and novel results in science have aspects of creativity and beauty, photography has fulfilled the remaining gap.
